Your safety is important. We don't like to think about anything dangerous happening on campus, but being prepared and knowing what to do is important in the rare event that something does happen. IU has resources to keep you safe and prepared in times of crisis or danger.

Active shooter situations are dynamic and evolve rapidly, so it’s important that you act quickly and that you remember “Run. Hide. Fight.” To help you be prepared in case of such an emergency, IU has put together a video that details the Run-Hide-Fight strategy.
