At Indiana University, we believe that well-being is key to learning. To manage your class workload, you may be tempted to let healthy life routines slip (getting less sleep, skipping meals, skipping exercise or down-time, and so on). You may be feeling mental stress because you're experiencing loneliness or have been dealing with micro-aggressions. In this section, we include tips from the research about how healthy life routines support learning. We also cover how to cope when you're feeling alone, when you're feeling discriminated against, and how to physically stay safe on and off campus.
